Our hearts are completely broken, our beloved and adored kitty Lucy passed away. She was 15 years old We have had her since she was born. She was the most loving cat I have ever had. She would sit on your lap 24 hours a day if you would sit there. She has spent most of her life in my lap or in my arms, I always held her like a baby...now my arms ache to hold her again. She would come running to the door meowing everytime we came home. She made you feel like you were the greatest person on earth. She was also one of the funniest cats I ever knew, she kept us laughing. I will never forget her and I will forever miss her. Lucy was one of three kittens born to a stray we had adopted and so I always new that when we decided to open our hearts up again we wanted to adopt a kitten from the Humane Society. There are so many cats that need homes there. Well today with our hearts hurting we went to look at all the cats and it happened... we fell in love with two little black kitties, brothers, who we have named Buddy and Roy (Buddy after my father and Roy after my husband's grandfather), I think they would both be proud. I know that with Buddy and Roy's help our hearts will begin healing and they will become a big part of our lives and our hearts. We will always love and miss you Lucy. Thank you for the wonderful life you gave us!!!!!
